Henderson finishes eighth in Jeff Godbee Memorial at Waycross

We had speed this weekend.

Track sped up .3 in qualifying when it got clean. We were in the first 2 cars out so that killed qualifying. Couldn’t pass in the heat yet, race track was still crumbs. But finished 4th.

Started 10th in the feature. Passing for 3rd and wanted a shot for the front row on a restart to go after the leader and slid out of the lane and fell back to 11th. Fought back for 8th.

I didn’t spend the money getting a recap done because honestly the results didn’t warrant it. But the car is good. We get a race track to qualify on in our group and I feel we had speed to cover ground inside the top 3.
