Henderson eighth in extended Crate Racin' USA event at Senoia Raceway

On Saturday afternoon, Matt Henderson rolled into Senoia (Ga.) Raceway for what was supposed to be a one-day, $3,000-to-win show.

After locking himself into the main event through qualifying, a heavy rain storm engulfed the racetrack and pushed the feature to Sunday afternoon. Rolling off from the second-row, Henderson battled inside the Top-3 but fell back to eighth on a late restart.
