Fourth-place finish in Rockin' with the Stars at Smoky Mountain

Taking part in the Steel Block Bandits Dirt Late Model Challenge season debut, Matt Henderson invaded Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Saturday night for the Rockin’ with the Stars. In a field of 27 cars, Henderson followed up the 12th fastest time overall with a third-place finish in his heat. Starting the $5,000-to-win A-Main in ninth, Matt advanced forward five spots in the 40-lapper to place fourth, trailing Mack McCarter, Cory Hedgecock, and Jason Manley to the checkers with Russell Erwin coming in fifth.
