Fifth-place finish in TOS event at Tri-County

Matt Henderson was one of 21 Late Models on hand at Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, N.C.) on Friday afternoon for the Vision Wheel Topless Outlaw Dirt Racing Series presented by Discount Tire sanctioned event. Earning the fourth-starting position for the $2,500-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Matt faded one spot to finish fifth. He trailed Ronnie Johnson, Chase King, Austin Neely, and Jesse Lowe to the checkers.

The following night at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) in the Limited Late Model ranks, Henderson topped the 13-car field in time trials but failed to complete a circuit in the 20-lap feature.
