Matt Henderson notches runner-up finish at Volunteer

On Saturday afternoon Matt Henderson visited Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) looking to get his car dialed in for the upcoming Late Model Championship in mid-November. Earning the second-starting position for the A-Main via preliminary events, Henderson slipped ahead of polesitter Zach Sise on the first lap before Zach wrestled it back a lap later. Hanging onto a podium spot in the remaining distance, Matt posted a second place finish behind Size with Ross White, Jason Welshan, and Josh Henry rounding out the Top-5.
